Pale Fragments is a collaboration project between bassist and electronic producer Marcus Chadwick and guitarist and singer/songwriter Paul Walmsley.

The duo started off recording a one off track called damage and had such a blast in the studio experimenting with sounds that it soon lead to an albums worth of material.

The approach of Pale Fragments is to capture a moment.

Rather than focusing on high production values they celebrated happy accidents and magical moments that come from letting parts evolve and happen naturally.

Parts were stumbled upon by random coincidence with a splash of musical telepathy due to the two artists having no limitations with genre and sound.

Both originally from the north of England they played in many bands before working together. Now Marcus lives in Spain and Paul in Lancaster, but they plan to write and release new material this year.
